>  Course Objective This semester course is designed to prepare students to succeed on the mathematics portion of the College Board SAT Reasoning Test. This part of the SAT includes mathematics topics studied during the first two years of high school mathematics.

• Topics include test taking strategies, properties of numbers, algebraic functions, and geometric relationships.

• Thank you for your cooperation in obtaining the following supplies which are required for math.  Being prepared is the first step to success.

                              ·        A marble notebook

                              ·        A section in a loose leaf binder for math homework

                              ·        A folder

                              ·        A ruler or straight edge                 

                              ·        At least two sharpened pencils at all times

                              ·         A graphing calculator  TI-83, TI 83 Plus, TI 84, or TI 84 Plus
